Chambered Cairn in Shetland

Remains of a circular cairn of some 25 m diameter. At the centre there is (probably) a chamber of about 2.5m diameter. The tallest stone standing is about 1m high.

Canmore site no. 398.

Gallow Hill chambered cairn
Gallow Hill chambered cairn submitted by SandyG : View from north west. The circular mound of stones in the foreground looks like a cairn but is not described in Canmore. Could be an outcrop or perhaps more likely a field clearance cairn. (Vote or comment on this photo)
