Roman Amphitheatre in Toscana
Cut out of solid rock and located in a beautiful park setting, this is one of the most spectacular Roman amphitheatres. Of elliptical plan, it measures c. 49 x 40 meters. It is also entirely surrounded by a huge Etruscan necropolis also cut out of solid rock.
