Voldstedlund Jættestue is located 100 metres to the west of Kongehøjen and to the east of both Hobro town and Katbjerg village. There is car parking at the Kongehøjen site from where a marked route along the edge of a field leads you to the copse in which Voldstedlund Jættestue is situated. The mound has been excavated and a hollowed bowl is left with the remaining stones located in it.
