Megalithic tomb near Lüneburg in Lower Saxony

Neolithic tomb still deeply embedded significant remains of its barrow.
Chamber measuring 9m x 2m, most orthostats in situ, 5 out of 7 capstones remained.
Enclosure dimension 15m x 8m.
Half of the enclosure stones are preserved, but partly out of place.

Lemgrabe Steingrab 1 submitted by Martin_L : Northern half of the 10,5m chamber. Some partly overgrown kerbstones of the enclosure are visible in the background. The site suffered historic destruction attempts. As a result the remaining capstones are not fully in situ. March 2012 (Vote or comment on this photo)
