The settlement has never been excavated or messed around with much, and it is said that the majority of it remains in a fairly good state of repair, despite the proximity of lots of old tin workings and the nearby farms and field walls.
Update November 2019: This settlement is featured on the Prehistoric Dartmoor Walks (PDW) website - see their entry for the Roos Tor N.W. Settlement. The site is also recorded as Pastscape Monument No. 439774, as MDV4104 (Unenclosed hut circle settlement in the parish of Peter Tavy) on the Devon and Dartmoor HER, and scheduled as Historic England List ID 1003195 (Hut circles SW of Wedlake).
