Gross Berssen Steingrab 9 'Brutsteene' submitted by Martin_L : Northwestern half of the 30m by 6m rectangular long barrow. Foreground showing the remains of the 7m by 3,5m chamber. Several fallen kerbstones are visible in the background. The site was abused as a quarry in historic site. Nevertheless still impressive. It is part of a larger Necropolis: several later barrows are nearby. April 2010 (Vote or comment on this photo)

Six (out of probably 10) halfways exposed orthostats survided the historic destruction attempts. Five are in situ while 1 is obviously moved (foreground right in this photo). The capstones are robbed. The entrance/passage part is lost too. Located inside a pit. September 2011 (Vote or comment on this photo)
