Standing Stones in Hesse

Basin shaped stone surrounded by standing stones nearby. In woods north of village. According to legend used for baptism by saint and more recent preacher. The sign posts up the hill and to the designated parking area however all lead to the "Frauenstein" menhir 5 Meters away. Exact GPS position from handheld device.

The Taufstein is a historic borderstone between two villages and counties. Experts say that this place is a prehistoric grave mound. April 2010.
