Rothenstein Steingrab
Rothenstein Steingrab submitted by Martin_L : Rothenstein (translates as "Red Stone"), built of red granite. Viewed from the South. The chamber is damaged (probably by historic destruction attempts) and partly exposed. Four orthostats and a (the) moved and massive capstone are preserved. It is a 600m walk from Rothenstein farm. Access is limited as the site is situated in a field. December 2010 (4 comments - Vote or comment on this photo)

Rothenstein Steingrab
Rothenstein Steingrab submitted by Martin_L : Rothenstein viewed from the East. Probably as a result of historical destruction attempts including loss of dry-walling and covering earthwork the chamber partly collapsed. December 2010 (Vote or comment on this photo)

Rothenstein Steingrab
Rothenstein Steingrab submitted by Martin_L : Rothenstein viewed from the NE. Of course not the most instructive photo, but the lighting conditions were interesting. December 2010 (Vote or comment on this photo)

Rothenstein Steingrab
Rothenstein Steingrab submitted by oschoe2z51 : Picture has been taken on April 5, 2016. Site is pretty good to find and access. Please find the position on the picture. I will add another picture showing the red color of the top stone. Most likely this stone was the reason for naming the adjacent village "Rothenstein"="Red Stone" as previous comments have pointed out.
