Raven Steingrab 2
Raven Steingrab 2 submitted by greywether : The chamber of #680. (Vote or comment on this photo)
On a hill called Strietberg, east of Raven, two similar tombs, just 80m apart. The western tomb belongs to Raven, the eastern one to Wetzen.

Text by 'holger_rix', 8-2009:

The chamber has 5 orthostats on the northern long side, and 4 on the southern. The short sides are closed by one orthostat. These eleven stones are all original, but most of them have been put back to this position in 1964. Also the two remaining capstones have been put back. The passage also has two orthostats.

The size of the chamber is apprx. 6m x 1.5m

Original text by 'greywether': There are two similar sites here on either side of a track. #680 is on the left (west); #681 on the right. At the latter, part of the circle of kerbstones is still visible.
