The prehistoric pile dwelling Schreckensee is located in Wolpertswende (Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany). It is situated on a peninsula at the Schreckensee Lake.

It was used from the Neolithic to the Early Bronze Age (Pfyn-Altheimer-Gruppe Oberschwabens, Horgener Kultur, Goldberg-III-Gruppe).
Today, the original remains of the settlement are preserved beneath the ground of the peninsula.
The site is part of the UNESCO world heritage Prehistoric pile dwellings around the Alps.
