This is a magical stone, now part of an ancient church.
The pagan cult survived until today through the legend of "Santa Varena" and the belief that it can cure people's back pain.
Before the Romans and chistianization that stone was probably one menhir or part of a group. The cult was too hard to destroy so it was christianized within the church (as was typical in this area).
The Stone is still visible on the front of the church (see pictures).
