This is a very pretty slender standing stone standing in the middle of the garden between some farm houses on the Oppigård farm.
It has a almost "perfect" square-shaped cross-section. It is about 2.30 metres high and about 20-30cm wide. Surrounding the stone is neatly cut garden grass and a small bush have been planted at the base.
It is right next to the country road going trough Eikesdalen valley and the farm landscape in the valley bottom. The area is surrounded with beautiful and very steep mountain sides.
The farm Oppigård once had two standing stones. The other stone was taken down many years ago and used in the foundations of one of the barns on the farm. It is said to be still visible, but I could not find it, to be honest, I did not search well for it either, knowing it would be a sad thing to see.
