The hillfort Sieben Gräben ("Seven Ditches") is located on Schleipenberg hill in Hagen (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).
The fortification consists of a triple rampart-ditch system around an interior space of 21 m in diameter. In the north there is an additional protection by a neck ditch.
During the excavations carried out in 1908, the remains of a square building, probably a tower, were found in the interior. According to the results at that time, the ramparts were not reinforced by stone walls.

It is not known when the hillfort was built. According to ceramics found, the hillfort existed at least from the late 12th to the 15th century.
The history of Sieben Gräben seems to be linked to the nearby Hohenlimburg castle from the 13th century. However, it is not clear whether it represents a much older predecessor fortification or whether it was built to protect the construction site of the Hohenlimburg castle. At least both sites seem to have been used in parallel during High Medieval times.
