The Willibrordus Brunnen is a holy well in Echternach (Luxembourg). The well lies in the crypt of the St. Willibrord Basilika.

The name refers to St. Willibrord (658-738), who was an Anglo-Saxon missionary. He founded the church and is also buried in the crypt.

Several reports about the healing power of the water have been collected. It is supposed to ease diseases of the skin.

St. Wilibrord Basilika is also the starting point of the Hopping procession of Echternach, which is part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the UNESCO. It is the last traditional dancing procession in Europe.

The origin of the dancing procession is unclear. It has been suggested that it might even be older than the commemoration of St. Willibrord and may possible be derived from pagan or early Christian cult dances.

The holy well has also a street side, which the two pictures are showing.
