Ancient Village or Settlement in Israel
South to Kibuts Yahel on the mergins of the 'Arava rift valley near an ancient road from the Edom mountain range about 50 km south to Petra to the lower Negev highlands, it's a very arid area with rainfall of around 30 mm yearly.
In a survey I found human activity remains from the neolitic era until recent years. Flint utensils, matseboth, Roded type sanctuaries, pottery shards, tomuli and nomad's camp sites.
