Wadi Yahel

On the way between Sinai and Petra in the Edom mountains,
Nabatien camp site with enclosures, hearths, Nabatien and Roman poetry and small Masseboth. We find this kind of Masseboth in the back of the camp.
Aaccording to Na'um Shukair (an Arabian historian) these small standing stones are protecting deities of the caravan.
