Ancient Temple and caves in Mersin Province, Turkey. By two sink-holes named Heaven and Hell there is a late Hellenistic temple dedicated to Zeus. It is believed that a famous legend from ancient polytheistic Greek culture took place in this region.

"The story, which also has some different versions, is something like this: Typhon which is a giant dragon with 100 heads and fire in his mouth was fighting with Zeus from time to time. The dragon wins one of these battles and imprisons Zeus in a cave in Korykos which is now named Hell Hollow.
Hermes rescues Zeus with the help of Pan and this time Zeus begins to follow Typhon. When he captures Typhon he throws the volcano Etna on the dragon and imprisons him deep in the ground."
