The museum contains findings from the mesopotamian era, Hittite era, Ephesus, Milletus and Aphrodisias, Hellenistic statues, sculpture from Marsias, Meander, and finally Hellenistic-influenced, Roman statues and Byzantineas well as other artifacts.
The museum also has many sarcophagi from Sidon and other parts of Lebanon. Of note are the Porphiry Sarcophagi of the Bizantine emperors in the courtyard.
