Istria burial site
Istria burial site submitted by mfrincu : Several barrows. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Barrow Cemetery in Romania originally built at the Bronze Age.

Bronze Age to Roman era burial site. Several round barrows are easily visible from the Histria settlement as well as from the DJ226 road connecting the villages of Istria and Sinoe. Others are visible from the DN22 road. Many of them have been robbed and others are already farmed which contributes to their destruction.
