A sub-temple in the Tenryū-ji zen temples complex. The vast garden contains maple trees, streams and a dry landscape garden which represents the ocean with the mass of black globular stones.
Occasionally open to public in the seasons when the colour of maple leaves is brilliant green or red in spring and autumn. Open 9:00-16:45. Admission 700 Japanese Yen (2024 price).
