This are in fact two different types of sites in one spot!
A large stone slab is located beside a medium-sized round burial mound.
The stone is dated to the bronze age, its flat surface has 25 round cup markings carved on the top. The stone itself is square-shaped and about 1,5x1,5 meters wide and about 40cm tall. The cup marks are from 5 to 10 cm in diameter.
The mound is about 10 metres across and about 80cm tall. Its located in the outside of a private garden right next to a country road leading to the Okkenhaug church.
The stone slab was discovered under farm work nearby and later placed in the side of the burial mound. A small, but interesting site with items from two different time periods.
