**Pond Cairn** submitted by sem : Site of Site in Mid Glamorgan Wales Although Pond Cairn has long since been destroyed, it appears the megalithic tradition still remains. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Ring Cairn in Mid Glamorgan

Excavated in 1937 by Sir Cyril Fox, the outer ring was recorded as being 18.8m in diameter (did they record in metres in 1937?).
The inner mound contained a primary burial and a secondary.
Access is given as unknown as the site lies under a factory.
