Ring Cairn in Mid Glamorgan

Excavated in 1937 by Sir Cyril Fox, the outer ring was recorded as being 18.8m in diameter (did they record in metres in 1937?).
The inner mound contained a primary burial and a secondary.
Access is given as unknown as the site lies under a factory.

Pond Cairn
Pond Cairn submitted by AngieLake : This picture titled 'Pond Cairn, Bridgend; after excavation' comes from 'Prehistoric England' by Grahame Clark, F.S.A. (4th edition, 1948. 1st edition was 1940). Sem thinks it now lies under an industrial estate. I also found this possible link. (3 comments - Vote or comment on this photo)
