There is a tumulus located due west, a few hundred metres away at Langstone Court. It is very likely that The Lang Stone is associated with this bell barrow. The tumulus is not mentioned on modern OS maps, but is located immediately north of the Langstone Court main buildings, where it meets the northeastern edge of the solar farm, the tumulus is presently tree covered (2021).
There was once a barrow a few hundred metres to the south east of The Lang Stone (northwest of Underwood). However, there is no line-of-sight between this barrow and the megalith.

I regularly visit this stone as is in walking distance of my house. Ive found many fossils and quartz in the field. I feel theres great energy at this stone and personally believe its on a leyline.
