**Lang Stone (Newport)** submitted by caradoc68 : It is situated on a hilltop in an ideal site for a barrow. A part of the stone has been broken off as judged by its jagged SE face, if the present upper face was an embedded base then a portion must have been removed as it would never have been a landmark. If such a portion were removed it must have been monstrous in weight and the stone is therefore almost certainly prostrate. Its present appeara... (Vote or comment on this photo)
