There is however water in each of the two bathing chambers - photos to show this are not added owing to strong reflections in the glass obscuring any details. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Stoney Middleton Thermal Springs submitted by rogerkread : A zoomed photo of the actual well - not really possible to get close to it. I can confirm that the water is warmish. Apparently there were originally 5 wells in the near vicinity. The church (very unusual design) just below the well is built on the site of a predating shrine. (Vote or comment on this photo)
