Standing Stone (Menhir) in Sogn og Fjordane. This standing stone was orignally from Tross in Førde, Sogn og Fjordane. It was later moved to the Fjaler town hall and placed in the small garden outside. Another standing stones from Tross is now in the garden of the museum of Bergen
.
The stone is 4,25 metres in height, around 1 metre wide and 20-30cm thick. The top is straight cut off and flat. It is said that a runic inscription was visible on the stone together with a Celtic cross but I could not find any traces of this when I visited the stone.
