Round Barrow(s) in Sogn og Fjordane
Tussehaugen (the troll`s mound) is the most well-known barrow from the viking age in Sunnfjord. The barrow was excavated in 1909. It was found a very wealthy grave goods, and suggest it was a barrow for a wealthy person. The barrow is located in the old centre of Bygstad.
The barrow was originally 20 metres across and around 5 metres in height, and had a very pretty rounded and tall shape. Today it is around 15 metres across and around 1 metre high, it is overgrown with high grass and trees.
