Lautariusgrab
Lautariusgrab submitted by AlexHunger : 9 Meters long and 4 Meters wide tomb with formerly 3 chambers. Some source suggest the tomb originaly had a wooden roof. The width would mak this logical. The stones are quite eroded, the tallest about 1.8 Meters tall, but most less than 1 Meters tall. 295 Meters Altitude. North North East by South South West orientation. In Wertholtzerplatz hiking area woods. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Chambered Tomb in Hesse

3 chambered 10 Meter long, 4 Meter wide heavily eroded chambered Tomb. As no remains of cap stones were found, it is though this tomb was covered by wooden beams like at Bredelem in Lower Saxony. The tallest stone is about 1.8 Meters tall, and most less than 1 Meters. North North West by South South East orientation. Excavated in 1932, but no meaningful artifacts found. In woods between Metze and Besse at Wertholtzerplatz hiking trail.295 Meters altitude. Exact GPS position from handheld device.
