This well-preserved hillfort consists of two enclosures, it has 100 x 85m in diameter. The main enclosure has a rampart and ditch with an entrance at the NE, while adjacent to its eastern part there is another enclosure with a massive rampart and ditch which protects the hillfort from the easiest direction of access.
The hillfort was excavated in 1967, 1968 and 1971. Only very scant traces of occupation were found, which indicates that it was primarily a refuge in moments of danger.
