Have been to the Ipf recently and would suggest to change the ambience rating from 3 to 5 - it is really an impressive place.
Access to the foot of the Ipf is 5 too, small paved road with small parking place and a "Celt Pavillon", a reconstructed celtic building providing general information nearby.
To reach the top of the Ipf one must walk about 20 mins, it is steep sometimes and part of the path (please keep to it to prevent erosion) can be muddy. Benches for rest and to enjoy the view are provided.
