Museum in Veneto

The Correr Museum, in St. Mark's square, is housed in what used to be the Venetian residence of Napoleon first, and then of the Hapsburg Court.
The Correr showcases works by Antonio Canova, within the palace there's a section used as art gallery and it's also possible to visit the National Archaeological Museum of Venice, with artifacts from the Italian Peninsula, Greek statues, as well as Egyptian and Assyrian-Babylonian items.
