Only 8 tumuli, in 2 groups, remain in a residential area. Okuike Kofun no.3 was 1 of the rare examples of hexagonal pyramid shaped tumuli, along with Shiono Rokkaku Kofun , Marukoyama Kofun and Ossaka Kofungun. All the tumuli were buried back into the earth and now only the round stakes indicate the positions of the tumuli.
