I usually visit the Ashdown Forest centre once a year and this year was no exception. However on turning the corner to reach the entrance I saw this very prehistoric looking hut.
Well I just had to have a look and had a read of the notice board beside the hut. It was built in the Autumn of 2010 so after my last visit.
I had a look inside and found It quite roomy.
It would be interesting to go in Winter and see how warm it is inside.
The centre has a leaflet about the hut, if there's none on display have a word with a member of staff.
If any-one is in the area definitly go and have a look.
Even if the centre is closed the area outside is usually open so you can still have a look.
