]]>When I was last in Ångermanland I was lucky enough to get to know to a guy who introduced me to ancient housekeeping, such as making cooking materials from birch bark etc. He also showed me how a large moose trap was built in ancient times. ]]>Frösöstenen is the northern-most raised runestone in the World and Jämtland's only runestone. It originally stood at the tip of ferry terminal on the sound between the island of Frösön and Östersund. It now stands in front of Landstingsborgen "the county council fort/castle", on Frösön.
