rollo5014 visited on 4th Aug 2013 - their rating: Cond: 5 Amb: 4 Access: 3 Before visiting the site I had not seen any descriptions or photographs. It is a most impressive site close to the source of the river Lamalou. The dolmen is very clean with neat stonework suggesting it may have had some rebuilding. Thankfully there was no litter when i visited or evidence of vandalism. It is approached from the D122E road about 1.5 km east of Notre Dame de Londres. Although not marked by a sign it can easily be found by following a path northwards through fields on the East bank of the river. It's such a large cairn it can be spotted from afar.

Fantastic dolmen still within its mound, on private ground access to which must be asked.

For me, certainly the nicest dolmen in Languedoc.
Complete dolmen with passage, antechamber and chamber (height in the chamber 2.50 metres)
Tumulus about 30 metres.
Huge iron age tumulus at only 50 metres.
