2. Other names of the Burial Chamber "Caixa de Rottlan" :

* "Tomb of Rottlan", as caixa is used for tomb in catalan.

* "Dolmen de Montbolo" :The site named "tourneur-sur-bois" presents it with the name "Dolmen of Montbolo", which is not surprising, as the megalith has been used for centuries as a bounadary marker between the communities of Arles-sur-Tech and Montbolo.

3. I therefore suggest you to delete the file of Dolmen de Montbolo, because it' irrelevant.

4. AND I suggest you to create a new file for a dolmen called Dolmen de Formentera, that seems to have been destroyed, on the teritory of Montbolo (wiki). It is said to have been situated on the slopes of the "Puig de Formentera", to the north of the community. The "Coll de Formentera" is indicated on the IGN Map.

Hello,
I just had a look to this file and I feel sorry to notethat you did not make the change I suggested after reading the commentaries I wrote to you on 06 09 2019. I don't understand why ?
It's about the name "Palet de Roland" you wrote it would be anothe name of the "Caixa de Rottlan".
I stated ad I maintain that "Palet de Roland" is in this case the name of a neighbouring rocky cluster that sits some 1600 m north to the dolmen.
Both places are indicated on the IGN map 2449 OT Céret Amélie-les-Bains./ Carroyage E1 and E-F 1.
I know that in others places, there are indeed dolmens called by the same name, Palet de Roland. I fact, "palet" is basically a name for rocks, and secondly, for a game played since medieval times in south of France, and thereafter, it has been given to some big stones (some of them authentic prehistoric megaliths) supposed to have been used by legendary gigants to play this game. In this case, only a big rock cluster, not a dolmen and not the Caixa de Rottlan.
Hope everybody is doing well...Regards,

Bonjour,

And in english :
I suggest to take off the "other" name Palet de Roland regarding this dolmen. In fact, it's the name of a natural place of rocks nearby...

Regards,
