Men Dogan menhirs
Men Dogan menhirs submitted by monik : Site in Bretagne:Finistère (29) France it may be just a granitic stone, and not a dolmen - but is still very interesting to see. Located on a private garden, you can see it from the road between Tregunc and Concarneau (on the left side of the road) (Vote or comment on this photo)

Men Dogan by monik on Sunday, 14 May 2023
(User Info | Send a Message)
Its Breton name is “Men Dogan”, which means “cocus stone”. According to the legend, anyone can move it, except cheated husbands. Also, after returning from a fishing season, all the husbands came to make sure of their wife’s patience.

Another story tells that Mao loved Corentine dearly, and did not know if his feelings were shared. He sought the advice of a sorcerer, who was jealous of Mao. He advised him to try to move the stone: if it did not move, Corentine also loved Mao. Of course, the stone moved, and Mao went to drown in despair.
