Dolmen in Sardegna

Large classic granite Dolmen dating to about 3000 BCE. 1 of 4 Dolmens in Luras, Sardinia.
Large 3 meter long by 1.5 Meter wide capstone from local granite held up by small uprights, about 1 metre tall on top of a granite outcrop near a local vineyard. South East facing and at 471 metres altitude.
Additional information submitted by Drew Parsons in October 2010:
To reach the site from Luras take the road towards Luogosanto and follow the signposts to the dolmen, turning right at Via Ludovico Ariosto. After 350 metres take the right fork at a junction and 100 metres further on you reach the dolmen visible on the left. This was a narrow twisting lane when I visited in October 2010 with little room to park. You might prefer to park by the junction with the lane and Via Ludovico Ariosto and walk to it. There is a map of the area including the location of this and other dolmens in Luras on the page for Alzoledda Dolmen.
