Hypogées de Villevenard
Hypogées de Villevenard submitted by AlexHunger : Up until a couple of years ago, the site could still be visited abong the venyards. However the authorities became worried the site would be vandalised and consequently bunkered the tombs in with cement and a manhole cover. Very worrying. (Vote or comment on this photo)
These 3 Hypogees in the Champagne Vineyards used to be accessible until several yeas ago. Now they are covered in cement and only accessible via manhole covers in order to protect them.
