Menhir du Fraïsse
Menhir du Fraïsse submitted by ocdolmen : A herd of sheep right beside the menhir of Fraïsse (also written Fraysse). The animals often like to rub on the stone which has the gift, according to the legend, to give the fertility. The milk of the animals is useful especially for manufacture of famous cheese of Roquefort. The occitan word “Fraïsse” (in french "frêne") indicates the ash tree.
