aolson visited on 17th Jul 2020 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 4 Access: 3 After finally finding the proper path down to the foreshore, were were warned of the quicksand by a local fellow who was raking cockles nearby.

Mein Er Mere Menhir

Visible at low tide, this 8 meter long fallen menhir lies on the sand covered in seaweed.

It is best not to approach too closely, and the immediate area around the menhir contains patches of quicksand.
