2 uprights (50cm and 1.50m high) are located near the resting area south of the village of Caubeyres. Other stones lie in the distance of 20-30m, probably marking a Neolithic ceremonial site.

De nouvelles investigations ont permis de replacer ces deux menhirs comme constituants (orthostates) d'une allée couverte ruinée qui d'ailleurs figure sur le fond de carte: il convient donc de rebaptiser le site: "Allée couverte de Caubeyres" et de changer le pictogramme.

En fait, le nom de "Pile" est celui des 6 pierres voisines. Seul le nom de "Menhirs de Caubeyres" doit être conservé!
