Possibly a dolmen, but thought more likely a natural stone, found high in the hills near Lapège above Niaux.

A large slab sits atop three smaller stones, and if not a true dolmen, it is thought to have been a "pierre rituelle", from which the views are superb.

Hello,
I reckon that this big stone is indicated on IGN MAP 2147 ET Foix as « dolmen ».

But I 'd like to suggest you to change the TYPE of the so-called Dolmen de Quiernès, which happens to be really an erratic stone abandoned here by a pyrenean glacier.

Regards,
lafemmedepierre
