Pivovarská Hora Menhir submitted by ladrin : Menhir on the top of the "Brewery hill". (Vote or comment on this photo)
Another perfect example of the standing stone in the region of Czech Meran (for the details see the topic "Menhir na Homoli"). Really beautiful menhir is located out of the paths just a few steps from the triangulation pole which marks the altitude of 486m called Pivovarská hora (translate as a "Brewery hill").

The location of a standing stone on the highest area point is a by the way typical here. In the far past, when these hills were mostly deforested, stones must have been visible from a long distance. This particular stone is about 120cm tall and has an "eye".. Precise hemisphere hollow on its southern side.
