Menhir in Bretagne:Finistère (29)

Tall menhir, standing along the D764, which must be the re-erected one, formerly called the sleeping menhir (Menhir couché de Coatmocun). According to P.R.Giot, La Bretagne des Mégalithes, number 276, this 8 metres monolith was set upright during road works.

Having a look round the area a week or two ago, I had identified a couple of large promising looking rocks from the various satellite views. I only got to look at one of these directly due to hedges etc, which may be the one in the photo, but I was pretty sure it was not a fallen menhir, but just a natural outcropping of the local granite, of which there is plenty around here. I didn't even bother to take a photo! (wish I had now).

Other than the panoramio photo, does anyone have any more information about this stone being a menhir? David?
