Pierre du Diable (Haillot) submitted by Alta-Falisa : The "Pierre du Diable", erected in site specially for arranged it, complete with an information board and a bank, and surrounded by young trees. August 2014. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Standing Stone unearthed in the summer of 2007, during urbanization works, re-erected in its original pit on the 23th of September 2007. Abundantly documented by the local press at that time - see several links below.

Like all the menhirs of the region, its typical trapezoidal shape ("Zeupire") is quite obvious, even if the tip is missing. The material is the typical Puddingstone.

Pierre du Diable (Haillot)
Pierre du Diable (Haillot) submitted by Alta-Falisa : Already at first glance (except for the broken off tip), the stone has the characteristic trapezoidal silhouette of the local menhirs. Archaeological excavations have amply documented this classification. Photo : 3 August 2014. (Vote or comment on this photo)
