Seaton Down Camp
Seaton Down Camp submitted by ForestDaughter : This was taken from the west side footpath leading to the ancient woodland Holyford Woods, showing the rise towards the southern tree line. (Vote or comment on this photo)
An Iron Age hill fort consisting of an earthwork with a large linear rampart, it lies at the edge of the north east end of the down on a high promontory, and is approximately 125 metres (410 ft) above sea level.

There is a footpath each side of the site from where the fort can be seen; the fort itself being on private land.
