custer visited on 13th Oct 2012 - their rating: Cond: 2 Amb: 4 Access: 3 Unlike me but I found this a little spooky. In the woods the light changes under the pine trees. There is a large natural rock outcrop to the southern end of the woods, lots of new animal bones on floor. There are numerous rocks all through which have been drawn up by the tree roots, there also appears to be other areas which have been dug out. Cist is to the northern end of the woods. Still well worth visiting.

Rowanfield Cist submitted by crannog : This stone had one definite cup mark, if you take a direct line through the trees you can just make out the capstone.
