Natural Stone / Glacial Erratic in Lower Saxony, Bremen

14 Ton, 3.4 metres wide and 1.4 metres tall glacial erratic also called sacrifice stone according to local legend.
It is said to have been pushed by glaciers from Sweden to its present location over 120,000 years ago. On Gattberg mountain between Belm and Vehrte.

14 tons? Even the visible part is 3,4m x 3,4m x 1,4m = 16,2 m³. Granite has at least 2,6t/m³. Hence the weight of this erratic boulder is > 42 tons.
