Maloja Mortar Stone
Maloja Mortar Stone submitted by Megalithic89 : Site in Graubünden Switzerland Photo taken April 2023. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Rock Art in Graubünden

A mortar stone, probably of roman age.

The bowl has a diameter of 38 cm, a square border and four outlets. Along the square borders are little cup marks.

The find location of the stone is unknown.

Is is right next to the Maloja stone with ornaments. So also east of a hiking path outside the village of Maloja. With a little patience you can go there with a wheelchair on the large nature trail.
