Nuragic complex in Sardinia (Sardegna)

Ruins of the complex nuraghe and Nuragic settlement are located in northern part of Gesico village. The complex consists of a curtain wall with at least 5 towers (the highest one survived to 3 m of height) and obliterated remains of the main tower. The site has been excavated from 2003 to 2006. Unfortunately, despite the location near the village centre the monument is not maintained and heavily overgrown.

The church of San Sebastiano (now ruined) was built in central part of the nuraghe in the 17th century.
